While many can, it is safest to entrust cross-trade shipments to an expert forwarder with extensive experience and a robust partner network in both the exporting and importing countries. CargoGate is a veteran forwarder with over 30 years of experience—need we say more?
Yes, it is possible. We act as the intermediary and issue a Switch B/L (Bill of Lading) to maintain strict confidentiality, ensuring that the final buyer does not have access to the actual supplier's details or the original cost information.
To allow the intermediary trader to manage risks and maintain control over freight costs, it is common practice to use EXW/FOB terms at the origin, and CFR/CIF/DAP terms with the buyer at the destination.
